This glass is ‘two-halves empty’

They had Manhattans — “Dave’s Perfect Manhattan” — and I had wine to celebrate Clare and Mom’s safe return from their biking trip to Florida.

Optimistic or pessimistic, this glass is fully-empty, or two-halves empty if you prefer!

Ha Ha Ha Mines usually empty, but my thought process is half full

Neat shot, and I tend to say half empty

Love the bright red against the glass - great focus. Did they actually bike "to" Florida or "in" Florida? Knowing you with your rowing skills, I wouldn't be surprised if your other family members have great athletic skills, too! :)

@kamb Thanks for a chuckle, Karen!

@digitalrn I could never remember which is pessimism and which is optimism, but I think your comment is the pessimistic view, yes, Rick?

@sparkleplenty1 Hah, good point, Joyce! No, they drove *to* Florida and then biked *in* Florida. It was an Elderhostel program. Clare is very fit and all of us have a hard time keeping up with her 76-year old mom. Mom is amazing.
