This will likely be one of the last shots from my first digital camera. It got a bit too wet in the boat one day and it hasn’t been the same since. Now I often have to reset the date-and-time when I turn it on; it seems to chew through batteries way too quickly and most of my outdoors shots are underexposed.
This is a sheltered part of Cedar Lake where I found calm water today. I ventured out a bit into more open water to the left of this image and it was the beginnings of white caps. So I backtracked toward the dock and went down a different part of the lake that’s almost always calmer (and it was). Turned out to be a very pleasant row.

@sparkleplenty1 New P&S! There are times when a P&S is the only appropriate camera to take. Yikes -- like commencement! One cannot "wear" a T2i unobtrusively under academic regalia. So I need to get one in the next 12 days!
