Waiting for the clouds to clear…

Not exactly Norman Rockwell’s “Tough Call” — 1948, http://www.rockwell-center.org/exploring-illustration/game-called-because-of-rain/ — but I had a rain delay at the lake.

Rowed about 5K but had to acknowledge the clouds coming in under a forecast of “isolated thunderstorms.” Rowed the 5K back to the dock here under light to moderate rain, but 10K is kind of a “short” workout. Fortunately I had my camera with me so I made a few images while I waited for the sky to clear. The clouds cleared and I completed my row with another 6K. First time back to the water since before the “train-cation.” Ahhh… :)

I became overwhelmed when I checked out my local camera shop's recommendation (Canon PowerShot A1300 not well-reviewed). :-\ Any suggestions from real users?
