A 4-frame day… by rhoing

A 4-frame day…

Two through a smudged window, one of the cat and this one. This one, it is, then. Sigh.

There is an area of mathematics known as “projective geometry” “dealing with the properties and invariants of geometric figures under projection” — http://mathworld.wolfram.com/ProjectiveGeometry.html — some of which I studied as a graduate student in economics (with emphasis on the “invariants”). I suppose partially for this reason I have long been fascinated by the shadows of objects that are cast into corners like this.

This is the light fixture in our foyer — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2011-01-12
The shadow is being cast by a floor lamp on the ground floor into the corner of the upper story ceiling and a vertical wall. And that’s all I got today. :-\

Interesting angle on the shadow, and I should have had you around when I was struggling through my algebra. Could have used a tutor.
