Today we left Boston with Jenny & Steve for the Burlington, VT, area where we met Steve’s parents. We toured the facility that will be our “home base” the weekend Jenny & Steve get married next year and we had a tasting at the restaurant. We sampled appetizers, entrees and these yummy cakes: (left-to-right) red velvet, chocolate, coffee, almond and Boston cream pie. The pastry chef came out to answer questions about the prospective wedding cake. It was a fun — and delicious — day!
