“Jenny’s choice”

Feast or famine, right? Some days it’s hard to find one at all, and some days it’s difficult to choose from several possibilities. Two days ago was the former; today was the latter. So I appealed to others and posted 6 to facebook. This was Jenny’s choice. Thanks, Jen!

[Note. A larger version of one of the others has been posted to PhytoImages, http://phytoimages.siu.edu/imgs/paraman1/r/Amaranthaceae_Ptilotus_exaltatus_69996.html — it is presently the only image of Ptilotus exaltatus, common names Pink mulla mulla and Lamb’s tail. “The species is widespread from the North-West coast of Australia east into the Northern Territory, New South Wales, Queensland and south-east to the eastern agricultural districts, Norseman and into South Australia.”]

I violated the one-third guideline in centering the image and cropping it to be square, but I hope it “works” this way. SOOC except for the cropping.

A flower in the sunflower family (Asteraceae); genus and species indeterminable.
