Beauty in patterns

A friend was particularly disrespectful and mean-spirited to me in the past week and it’s been weighing on me, so today I was looking for beauty in the greenhouse (instead of things that might just be “cool”).

This is the same Sago palm as two weeks ago — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2014-04-03
This is just one of the fronds with its leaves unfurled.

I hear you and I am sorry. :-( I hope the greenhouse helped.

Something like this always sends you into a tailspin as you try to figure out why it would happen. I guess as human beings, we sometimes get caught up in the chaos of life and our emotions and say and do things we too often regret. Hopefully it was a slip of your friend's personality and not really meant. I hope things can be ironed out, after all, long time friendships don't just happen.
