Behind the glass blocks

A few months ago I posted that my first significant “yes” in retirement is serving on the board of directors of a local nonprofit, whose mission is to renovate and restore a 1940 movie theater, http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2015-02-06

The façade of the theater, above the marquee, has “VARSITY” arranged vertically on glass blocks and the block-cap letters are illuminated from behind. This is, as the title states, behind the glass blocks. No, I did *not* climb the ladder. Perhaps another time … when help may be nearby!
