Everyone *doesn't* have one???

A home traction unit. Sigh.
But if this
(1) lets me row again and
(2) keeps the neurosurgeon away,
then I can do this for 10-15 minutes a day. Especially if I only need to use it three times a week.

The price on the physical therapy office's paperwork from the seller is $725. Available online for $370 (plus tax and S&H). It will be interesting to see what insurance might do for the patient's out-of-pocket expense.

Price update. The physical therapy office called. The wholesaler/seller is no longer in business. Therefore, by law, the physical therapy office cannot bill me or my insurer. So my final out-of-pocket expense = $0. Works for me.

I knew a woman who worked in a rehab hospital, and she said that people called the therapists "physical terrorists." This looks somewhat like a torture device, but just keep telling yourself it's for your own good . . .
