Assassin bug by rhoing

Assassin bug

I was photographing the Rhododendron and then discovered this guy partially hiding under a leaf.

A common name is “Pale Green Assassin Bug,” about which the BugGuide page states, “rather unfortunate invention, given color variation.”

Confirmed at BugGuide as “Zelus luridus” or “Pale Green Assassin Bug”; http://bugguide.net/node/view/1222374
