San Francisco — Day 3

In the morning:
• Bus to the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood
• Walk around the neighborhood, ending at the “Panhandle”
• Walked along the Panhandle into Golden Gate Park
• Guided walk through the Japanese Tea Garden
• Visit 9th floor observation deck of the de Young Museum
• Lunch in the de Young Cafe

For our afternoon "on our own," Clare & I shared an Uber with another member of our group to Pier 39 for the ferry ride to Alcatraz. This was taken on the ferry ride from Alcatraz Island back to Pier 39.
