Before they go to the curb

My office cleaning project continues. I have had a box full of old cameras. Here are the point-and-shoots. Clare's dad and I tended to get identical or similar cameras when pocket-sized cameras came out, so there are great similarities in the two front rows. And we apparently were Olympus fans.

Problem: Two of them still contain a roll of film. How many frames have been exposed? No idea. But I have no batteries to rewind them. And without batteries, I don't have the benefit of knowing whether any frames have been shot. What's the chance there are any gems inside? It'll cost me $$ to find out!

Front row (left-to-right):
Olympus Infinity Stylus
Olympus [infinity] Stylus Zoom (Weatherproof)
• Olympus [infinity] Stylus Epic Zoom 80 Deluxe (VF Technology // All Weather)

Second row (left-to-right):
• TBD
• Dad’s Olympus [infinity] Stylus Zoom (square of duct tape so he could readily identify his!)
Olympus Stylus 80 (Camera Shake Indicator // All-Weather)

Back:
• Kodak VR35

Updates
    • May 2017 “Breaking up is hard to do”
    • March 2024 They’re still here. I will investigate Kathryn’s link to donate them to the
Film Photography Project, but I’m suspicious they may only be interested in SLRs.
