‘Project Creep’: Before

Yes, we're [just] "repainting" the laundry room.
Yes, this is the dryer vent cap that's outside, so not technically part of a repainting job.
But these plastic flaps get warm, warp and stay open: i.e., not a very good heat seal. [Don't know that it exactly explains what I found under the dryer on the floor this morning, but more about that later.] So now I want to replace this vent cap. And apparently I need a "siding removal tool"…

Took a bunch of photos Saturday with the P&S (but none yesterday), but not-a-single-one was good enough to post. And one was a good shot of a former student who was in town visiting friends, but I just cannot hold a camera steady for 1/6".

6 no-post days this short month of February. Oh, well. I think I'm out of ideas locally :-\
