OMG, it's still there!

Clare & I have two daughters; each is now married. They were great readers and read Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" books http://www.littlehousebooks.com/
Many, many years ago, we took a short trip to SW Missouri, including Mansfield, MO, where Wilder wrote the books at the house on "Rocky Ridge." http://www.lauraingallswilderhome.com/

On our way home, along US Highway 60, we stayed here, when the Honeysuckle Inn was brand new. Nice to see it's still here! http://www.honeysuckle-inn.com/

Today I was driving my brother's car back to Carbondale from Tulsa and made a rather abrupt deceleration to pull in for a photo. Sorry, bro!

Unfortunately, the yellow paint on the front of the inn was not well lighted. I couldn't lighten it enough to my liking, so I decided to do something else and used selective coloring on the sign alone.

Now I want to find the photo album with the photos from that trip to Springfield and Mansfield!

Good decision for the SC. This looks a nice hotel! Will look out for this brand when I am in the States.
