A friend gave me a 3D puzzle. These can be pretty tricky — http://365project.org/tags/3d%20puzzles — and initially I couldn't even discover how to *dis*assemble it.
I finally realized what little trick was needed and loosened — but did not remove —
one piece. After further study (but not really learning anything), I removed the first piece and replaced it a time or two, turning the assembled puzzle around to see which piece might come out next.
Finally, without really having studied the overall structure of the assembled puzzle, it just fell completely apart.
I have little hope of ever assembling this one. Oh, I *will* try, and I hope there's a photo online of the assembled puzzle, but this one's going to be hard!

Oh dear! I hate to tell you I have what might be the same puzzle, and it's been in a bowl for five years waiting for someone to figure out how to put together.
Later edit: Nope; that's not the one.
Here it is assembled, https://365project.org/rhoing/365/2022-07-05
