Another full, fun day arranged by our hostess. In the afternoon we boarded the “Ranger III” with the President and many alumni of Michigan Technological University for an excursion to the upper entrance of the Keweenaw Waterway from Lake Superior. This is the lighthouse at the end of a long breakwater, http://lighthousefriends.com/light.asp?ID=221
Interestingly, it was cloudy in Houghton at our departure and our return, but look at how beautiful it was at the entrance to the lake.
