Today we got our first in-person look inside our older daughter and her husband’s new home (not a new “house,” but the kids’ new “home” if that makes sense). With an almost-4-year old and almost-1-year old, this house will give them significantly more usable square footage … and a brand-new list of things for grandpa to do when he visits. ;)
Today we are off to a week on the Cape at the same rental house where we stayed two years ago. It’s a week out of their houses for six adults at a “neutral site” with lots of amenities. We’re all looking forward to it. (And since we were just there two years ago, we did most of the “exploring” then and won’t need to venture out much and wonder about masks and distancing.)
