3½-inch floppy disk: case opened [Filler]

Nothing momentous here. Fabric-lined outer casing, the floppy medium, and the central “axle” to engage with the mechanism that will spin the disk. The three components I didn’t capture: the spring that keeps the metal cover over the case opening when not in use, the metal cover, and the write-protect button.

Compare the construction of this 1.44Mb floppy disk to the 100Mb Zip disk — not very different.
