@rosie00 Hi Leslay - Brisbane is often called the River City - it is basically built all along the meandering Brisbane River - which unfortunately floods reasonably often!

@golftragic Hi Marnie - funnily enough the public memory doesn't seem to reach back as far as 2011!! Even suburbs where the houses disappeared completely under flood waters are now showing big increases in price.... Bit crazy.

@taffy The city has changed over the past few years - mainly for the better in the CBD - except that some historic buildings haven't received the protection they deserved. :)
