Hi FB. Thanks for your comment and encouragement! I'm doing an online photographic course that JackieR recommended to me.Basically it teaches you how to use your camera right from scratch. It's proving to be a good way to learn how to use the Nikon. I'm finding you get all sorts of different results depending on the settings you choose. The F8 200 ISO that he suggested seems to be far and away the best for landscapes but the others are interesting in different ways. It's been really interesting. Cheers Rob
