@caterina Thanks Caterina - maybe it's too abstract - apparently the minimalist photos are supposed to be able to be identified whilst still having an abstract feel.
Nicely geometric with a graphic arts quality to it. I think minimal is more about the least amount of positive space (positive being your subject) than it is abstract but I could be wrong!
@olivetreeann Now that's an interesting definition - that would make this OK - my main subject was the reflection on the edge of the monitor. Thanks for the info! :)
@granagringa I got the impression from the challenge that they were going to have different themes and recycle through them. I must admit that some of them sounded very similar to me and quite repetitive! Some of the examples for urban had things like door handles? I'll go back and have another read of it and see if this one does or doesn't suit. I do like this concept so it will be good to have a better idea of what they are looking for in each theme. @granagringa Yep - you were correct. It's actually mini-urban details for this one - so out and about. This would be better for the mini-shadows / light one further on. Good practice anyway!! :)
