Patersons Flag Flower

NB - this was not my photo - just a web image to show this marvellous spot of colour in the bush, before it morphs into the strange shape shown on the earlier photo.... They grow as a small clump of insignificant rush like leaves - but the flowers are nearly 2 inches across, from petal end to petal end, and supported on quite a long stalk.
