The old growth Eucalypt forest unfortunately is being invaded by cypress trees. They can be seen here - they are the quite nice, green trees that we would like to get rid off Their leaves contain chemicals which inhibit the growth of new gum trees.....
@golftragic Not much we can do - except cut out the young ones. It's tricky because there is one which is native to the area and then there is the invasive one - and they are hard to tell apart. :)
