Muntjac

I saw this little one in the field down Wood Lane and I was glad I had gone for a walk when I did. They usually run away before I manage to get a shot but this one stood transfixed for a few seconds.

They are lovely animals. I remember a while back hearing a grunting/heavy breathing sound outside my bedroom window and shouted out "ef off you pervert" only to find out it was a little muntjac........oooops!!

We occasionally get one of these in our garden, but they always go very quickly so you were lucky to get the shot. I always feel sorry for Muntjacs, they never have any friends with them!
