I went for a very long walk this afternoon as it was a lovely day with glorious sunshine although cold in the wind. On the way up I saw this kestrel hunting. I continued walking after I took this shot as I wanted to walk up at least as far as the farm which is just before Sheerhatch Woods as I wanted to see whether there were any stonechats and I was lucky enough to see 2 - a male and female who were obviously a pair. I will post a shot in my Bits & Bobs album. It must be about a year ago since I saw the stonechats.
