I grew up in a village called Roxton and I went to Sunday School at this lovely chapel which was down the road. It looks as lovely today as it was then and last year it was rethatched with the help of a Heritage Grant and money raised by lots of people. I had some photos printed and donated them which they sold. Such lovely memories.
However, I went there to have a look at the cottage that I grew up in but I was heartbroken when I saw how awful it looked. My Father would turn in his grave as he kept the garden perfect and it looks as though it needs to be rethatched. So disappointing and I won't go again.
