Not a particularly good shot but I have never captured one of these before. At first I thought it was a pigeon on the wire but I realised it wasn't due to the fact it had a long tail. When I saw what it was, I was really pleased that I'd taken it. The only thing was I didn't have time to adjust the settings on my camera which is why it's not very good. It looks as though it has lost an eye
It is a Kestral a good record shot, last one i tried to was hovering then swooped down on some prey just as i pressed the button and his head is out of the frame, so well done
