Bas was looking out at me as he was all cuddled up with Steve. I had to wake him up yesterday because he was still asleep in his box so I had to put the light on to let him know that it was time to get up
I think Ray would regard Steve as the epitome of tolerance and he himself would not tolerate a parrot (or anything with wings!) in bed with him - fun shot!
@greyfeather They really are @quietpurplehaze Steve looks forward to him coming up with me - we would really miss it if he didn't snuggle down with us @skstein@miley89 Glad it made you smile
@rosiekind Well I think it's great that Bas is one of the family. I did just show Ray your pic and he was horrified! We went to a demonstration of flying birds once and he spent the whole time ducking when each bird flew over. I can't remember if you said whether Bas talks or not?
@quietpurplehaze He only talks cockatoo language although some cockatoos do talk but he was a few years old when Steve got him and he was in an avery so wasn't used to being on his own and getting all the attention that he gets now. Steve's had him for about 20 years
