Photographically a very poor picture but all the redwings were hiding in the tree so I didn't stand a chance. However, this is to record that I did actually see about 10 of them.
@carolmw I wish they wouldn't try to hide from me! @hudd I'm always pleased if I see some as we don't see them very often. I think they might be on their way back to Scandinavia
Well it's a lovely flash of red and the detail on the branches is very good - haha just joking. Well done on spotting these. I actually took a robin pic this evening but it was too dark ,after the family had left, so it wasn't worth posting.
I know about how they are always to far or high up in a tree saw 25 again today but to darn far for the camera well caught not much chance of capture now with this warm weather coming in I think they will be off.
