This is Maisie. She belongs to one of my colleagues at work and she had patiently sat in her car all morning. Two other colleagues were going out for a walk during their lunch hour so Angie asked them whether they would mind taking Maisie with them. They didn't seem too keen but they did take her and when I saw her, I fell in love with her straight away! She was quite frisky when she first came out but I took this when she returned from the walk across the fields. I couldn't go with them because I had sat out on the village green to eat my lunch with another 2 or my colleagues - we're such a friendly lot! I don't usually have a lunch break but eat my lunch while I'm working so it made a nice change. It meant that I had to stay at work for an extra half hour but it was worth it. As I was there for longer, Angie brought me a cup of tea and a toasted teacake so it was well worth it. I work with really nice people and that's probably because it is a charity - so different from when I worked for the NHS!
This is a cute pic. I have to agree with Hazel about the car and such--As a dog owner, I never leave the pup in as the heat is too dangerous. That was very kind of your colleagues to help her out.
