This is a phone photo through the kitchen window because my camera was in the car. This blackbird spent ages in the birdbath having a really good bath and then spread his tail out and sat in the cool water. He certainly appreciated being able to cool down and I think I would have liked that too.
Our birds are doing the same Rosie, can't get enough water! I just read tidal too that hedgehogs are very short of water so I've been out to fill a dish or two round the garden.
