I was surprised to see an egret in the field where the Egyptian geese normally can be found but they were absent when I walked up the lane. However, they must have done a swap because when I walked back, the egret had gone and the geese were back. I was surprised to see the buzzard sitting on the opposite end of the fence than the time I saw him last time.
