Way back I posted a picture of a young man taking a shot of his partner (or whatever she was) and I said that females have it in their DNA to pose whenever they see a camera. I had some great fun reading the comments I raised. This shot proves that I was right, haha.
Took this shot while walking the Sliema promenade. The limestone rocks in this area are almost white and very smooth.
I went to watch Malta play Croatia in the European Nations Cup last evening. Malta played very well and was unfortunate to lose by one single goal. Our players played as good as their adversaries.
Joke: Two photographers are in the men’s room at the urinal. One guy is a Canonian and the other a Nikonian.
The Nikon guy finishes his business first. He simply zips his fly and heads for the door.
As he was leaving, the Canon guy turns his head towards him and says “Excuse me, Canon photographers wash our hands when we are finished urinating”.
The Nikon guy says ” I understand, but us Nikon guys don’t pee on our hands”
BTW I took this shot with my Panasonic and not with my Nikon.
Many thanks for looking and for all the lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
That looks like such fantastic Place to take pics, I bet they turn out wonderful. Not sure I agree with the female posing argument....not true for me anyway, lol. And loved the joke, except that I am a Canon girl, lol
excellent capture dione...hey you could have approached them and asked them for a shot and posted a "stranger picture"....You would certainly have a good model to practice on :)
@phil_howcroft Thanks. That would have been a good idea only I don't have the nerve to ask strangers to pose for me. I was uncomfortable even taking a candid.
A lovely memory of the day for the couple, great capture Dione.
Trees can be damage/get ill by toadstools . But most times they are not healthy in the first place.
I've never been comfortable about having my photo taken.
