LOVE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN by sangwann

LOVE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN

I had to interrupt my two concurrent narratives about Sicily and Gozo to post this shot because love has been turned upside down with the terroristic attack on Paris last Friday. Hate has once again taken the upper hand.

On Saturday there was a demonstration in support of the French people in St Julians and the participants used this street art to surround with a festoon of French flags. I became aware of this event when I saw it on the local news network. So yesterday morning I went to take a shot and pay my respect to the victims of this barbaric act.

NO JOKE TODAY. I have never missed posting a joke everyday since 1st January but I don’t think it appropriate to do so with this shot. I hope you will understand.
Thank you very much for looking and for the lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
thank you for sharing Dione

Great tribute shot- did you invert the background? It makes the shot. And I truly appreciate your respect for the victims in not posting a joke. A beautiful commemoration.
