It was Carnival time last week-end. Contrary to many other previous occasions the weather was perfect and the Maltese and visitors who were here between Friday and Tuesday were able to enjoy the merry-making to the full.
Christine and I together with my daughter, Denise, her husband, Ian and our grandson, Max made a day out of Sunday to go watch the event. For the coming days I will show a few of the shots I took. Watching tv later I realised I had lost many other opportunities.
I liked this shot, to start with. That guy in the picture is a caricature of the world reknown architect Renzo Piano who designed a new entrance to Valletta together with a new Parliament building just inside of Valletta.
A lovely colourful shot.
In our country many of the carnival parades where cancelt by the big storm/wind those day`s.
