Beginning of April, had just taken my first Covid19 vaccine and after a couple of days to Corinthia San George Hotel. Why?
During the worst part of the pandemic I roamed the coastline of Malta to take shots of the watchtowers erected during the period of the Knights of St John and Malta except for one tower which was (and still is) within the Corinthia property. I was scared of having to go to reception, talk to hotel employees and facing people who I didn’t know and didn’t know where they came from during those days. But I promised myself that I would go as soon as I get my first vaccine injection. Also I had heard government say that ports will soon be opened to receive tourists. So off I went, camera in hand to take my last watchtower picture.
In this collage are:
1 The hotel from the side of the main entrance
2 The hotel from side facing Saint George’s Bay and the open sea.
Thank you very much for all your visits, for your comments and for your fav's. They are always appreciated.
I hope that the reintroduction of tourists help the economy and not cause a problem to health. It has been so interesting following your series of the watchtowers.
Lovely completion to your watch Tower series.
Let’s hope before they let tourists into Malta that they have to be completely vaccinated. I just booked my second vaccination shot this morning for June 21 :)
