Have you never seen a Sandpiper before?
Me: “Not today, only you. By the way, are you a Sandpiper, after all?”
Sandpiper: “What do you think? Mind your own business.”
Me to myself: “He must have had a bad night.”
Shot taken same day as the one I showed yesterday.
Walking back to where I had my car parked I went through Salini to check on the birds after the egret had raised my hopes of seeing something different. And I was rewarded with catching this sandpiper, the one and only little bird that was not a gull. He looked questioningly at me before he flew off.
