Lovers of pink

Mum loves pink and flowers of any description so I knew these would be enjoyed!
More gardening and felt good being out in fresh air.
Tricky day for Dad as his sister in law passed away last night. Her husband was his oldest brother who was very special and died rather suddenly over 60 years ago. My lovely auntie was 97 and until a couple of years ago was in remarkably good health and spirit. The funeral service is on Monday morning on the Western Isles so not possible to get there with one thing and another, but I know her family will be surrounded by love and care as they gather together. The cemetery where she will be buried is just by the beach where oil rig was blown ashore recently. Glad it's been moved on!
Three good things
1. Lovely memories of a sweet and welcoming auntie.
2. Practical things to do when plans not possible
3. More sunshine for gardening.

LOVE these shades of pink! Sad when another one of the older generation dies - but so much to remember and give thanks for too.
