This is a bit of a take on the leading lines for Flash of Red February because the lines on this crocus are leading lines for the insects to find the centre of the flower.

That's pretty cool. Interesting to see how the processing brings out the detail. You don't have to be an insect to follow those lines!

@stray_shooter it is one of the purple and white striped crocuses - but yes, tone mapped as converting to monotone lost the pistil and anthers otherwise
