We actually had some colour in the sky at sunset - rather than the grey dullness of the last few days - and a pair of jackdaws on one of the TV aerials that are almost certainly nesting in one of those chimneys.
Three good things:
1. A new haircut - yay
2. Healthier daughter - seems to be getting over the most recent chest infection (following on from the cold)
3. Scored some naughty but nice reduced price gluten-free coffee and walnut cake
