For this week's Get Pushed challenge@northy challenged me to:
how would you feel about working on an image that focuses on form and light/shadow? something along the lines of Edward Weston's work - although black and white is optional...
let me know if that doesn't work for you and i'll come up with something else...
I like black and white - scanning down that page there was an image of three pears, but I'm not sure if they were by Edward Weston, or after his work.
Three good things will have to follow later as I'm doing this early as it's Guides tonight (first one back after the Easter holidays)
1. It was warm enough to wander around in shorts briefly - I wore the pair my daughter made me to be photographed for her blog and left them on for a walk around the town. Not many other people agreed with me.
2. Mad, mad session at Guides tonight building biscuit pyramids and labelling handicrafts for the show on Sunday
3. Hallelujah, the Guides craft show is on Sunday, so we can stop doing crafts for a while.
Thank you for looking and all your amazing comments and faves. I prefer to spend time looking at your pictures
The lighting is excellent and I like the choice of the B&W presentation. The spots of the pears stand out more without the fruit's color taking over the smaller details.
