"one “Recently wild” day? Make a still life composition, outside, of at least five different kinds of natural, normally wild material that you have chosen and arranged yourself? If that won’t work, let me know and I’ll give you an alternate."
I'm afraid I've subverted this slightly and made a collage from Sunday night's walk, clockwise from the top left: mating Harlequin ladybirds, white tailed bumblebee on bramble flowers, strutting jackdaw, baby rabbit and, centrally, a male blackbird collecting food. It being one of the few dry days my daughter and I got out for an accessible wander.
Three good things from Sunday:
1. trial jacket I'm making fits me surprisingly well - it needs a bit of finishing, neatening seams and interesting pockets, but it's a working jacket.
2. nice dry evening that meant my daughter could get out for a reasonable walk
3. Daughter's second attempt at a shirt to fit her looks as if it will fit.
Thank you for looking and all your amazing responses, you're all superstars. I apologise for being so flaky and now on catch up. I prefer to spend time looking at your pictures rather than thanking you individually below.
@shannejw Hi Shanne, we're get pushed partners next week. For your challenge could you make a photo in the style of a Salvador. Do you have a challenge for me?
Not what I had in mind, but very nice. I’m impressed with the variety of wildlife you were able to capture with your camera. Re: the ladybugs—is there no such thing as privacy anymore?! 🤪
