There Is No Place Like Gnome

Today is New Year's Day, my family got to celebrate a second Christmas as our eldest daughter was unable to join us for Christmas. We watched as she opened her presents. She's into gnomes and our youngest granddaughter bought this for her aunt.

Today, January 5th I noticed that Milanie @milaniet has posted that she was backing away from the Project due to other more important obligations. I will sorely miss her posts. We have been following one another for many years.
I am getting to the point where I need to do some serious thinking about whether I want to continue on the Project as well. Life takes us on a lot of twists and turns and there comes a point when you have to sit down and make some difficult choices.
This marks the beginning of my 13th year on the Project and I have been blessed to meet some of the most wonderful, caring, and supportive people on here. That is what makes the decision so difficult. I feel that my photography skills have grown immensely because of all of you and others that I have followed and that have followed me over the past twelve years. My Ace membership runs out in March. We will see after that.
I wish you all an amazing New Year whether I am here or not! ❤️
Ah this is lovely ❤️ Dear Skip, I always enjoy your photos, your faith, your fun and your online company. Do whatever is right for you but know you are always welcome on here as little or as often as suits. Very best wishes xx

Sweet!! You have done a huge amount of time on here, you would be missed, but you know what is right for your way forward

Cute gnome. Regarding your thoughts, whatever you choose will be right for you at the time. You can perhaps continue with a free membership and choose not to post as often, which could reduce the pressure of a daily photo and commenting. I think of this occasionally and wonder if I would just put the camera down.

That’s very cute, what a great Christmas present. Sorry to hear you’re thinking of leaving 365 but it’s understandable; we all have limited time unfortunately, and have to choose what to do with it. I didn’t realise you’d been here so long, that’s impressive. We (husband and I) have just started posting again after a couple of years away.

A very cute little gnome. I hope you hang around, even if you drop the ace membership and only post occasionally.
