our stuffed monkey, george, is missing, we found out today. partner couldn't recall if he had given george to one of the grandchildren or something. i love that monkey!
so tonight's offering for wildlife photography is one i took last month at the butterfly museum. that's the most wildlife i could come up with as partner didn't want to go in place of george. :-D
also, this week's get pushed partner, ashley @paign challenged me "to mix it up a bit, since I don't see things that are "in your face" colorful, I'm gonna say some sort of Splash of color/Selective color." so here you go, ashley.
thank you for your views and comments; i truly appreciate them. i may be slow in commenting as i'm sidelined by a bad back pain and the laptop is playing stupid. i can't sit for a long time nor stand still for a long time. i have to keep walking or lie down.
in other news, i submitted a one-hundred-word story today. yay!
Oh no, I hope you will be able to find George again....he is probably just monkeying around lol. Loving the vibrant colors of the flowers and butterflies. I could spend hours in there just photographing the detail and beauty of the plants and butterflies.
I'm sorry to hear about your back pain, hopefully you're feeling much better by tomorrow!
Oh, I so need some colour in my life right now. It has literally snowed every day for the last few months. I'm winter blind right now - bring on Spring! I think I need to track down some butterflies!
@claireuk - i can't put it up on my blog yet, until after april 1 when i'm advised it's not good enough for them to publish :-( i might use it as a 'comment/caption' next week if i find the appropriate photo. :-) thank you, claire.
I'm sorry to hear about your back pain, hopefully you're feeling much better by tomorrow!
I hope George turns up soon, and your back feels better too!
