mad minute word monday - falcate by summerfield

mad minute word monday - falcate

an adjective, meaning curved like a scythe or sickle; hooked; falciform; also, falcated.

i thought i was going to come up empty-handed with this word. then at the subway going home, i was two stops away, when i remembered the bamboo plant on my desk, jutting straight up about two feet, but the top part had been trained to wrap around something. so, i got off at the next stop and went back to the office. i got remarks like "too early for tomorrow!"

the lighting in my workstation is horrible for photographs and my best recourse is to convert this to black and white. however, i wanted to show off the green so i played with exposure until i got this high-key effect. ergo, i have a photo of my falcated bamboo to present to you.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that i appreciate them a lot.
nicely captured

Works for me! You are so dedicated to go back. I would have thought to myself, "Oh well, I'll find something else at home!" I like the high key!

Nice editing, it makes the color pop. And appropriate for the word, the effort was worth it,

I admire your dedication but this shot is well worth it. I keep forgetting the mad minute word until it's too late.
