two weeks ago, i succumb to getting a smart phone. it was a good deal: actually i went to the source to get one of their samsung tablet which was on sale for $170. i figure i could use it for looking at my photos when we're travelling instead of waiting to get them uploaded on the computer. when i got to the store, they were offering a 'combo' with the tablet: i get a smartphone for nil and they would give me a $50 discount on the tablet. the phone plan costs $20 a month, no contract. i told myself this is the perfect time to execute my plan of phasing out the landline, since i hardly ever use it.
this is one of the first shots i took and boy, does it take better macro than the camera. you can see the details so clearly as well as the sheen of the petals. i kinda like it.
i've been taking photos with the samsung phone and i'm quite impressed. i took this orchid flower from an angle and i noticed the "x".
