toronto island on a cold november night

the cold season has really got me feeling down. it used to be that in the dead of winter, just as recently as last winter, i would walk the two-three blocks down to the boardwalk. now, i feel the cold air and no matter how bright the sun shines outside, i just refuse to go out. i must really be getting old.

it has been busy at the office. then there's the pressure of processing my photos for the restaurant. add to that that my writing protégé (actually my officemate Monique whose ass i started to whip last year so she would get serious writing her novel) has already finished her first draft so i'm doing some sort of editing for her so she can get it all together for submission to publishers. can you imagine if i'm the one doing the writing? i'd probably be in the asylum halfway through. tarnation!

so because i've been lazy to go out and take pics, the lake view from my boss' office comes to the rescue with this night shot of the islands and the highway. i know i haven't posted a black and white shot of this view. i just placed the camera on the ledge, hit the shutter and voilà!
voila indeed - very nicely done... i really like the crispness of the view into the office building on the left... one could have fun with that methinks ;0
