i couldn't go anywhere nicer to take starburst shots so i had to make do with the busy neighbourhood side streets. stood on one of the corners of the intersection going to the subway station east of our building. the line of lampposts were quite pretty, but tarnation! there were parked cars everywhere it's impossible to take any meaningful photos. so i settled for light trails to combo with the starbursts. the two white blobs on the lower left were actually of a cop cruiser who deliberately slowed down to check out what i was doing crouched on the sidewalk with my tripod and camera seemingly pointed at the passing cars.
well, we still have a week and i'm pretty sure when both partner and i get better (he's also sick with an ear infection; i don't know why he has to have what i have!) hopefully before next weekend, we can drive down to the marina and i can do starbursts with better views. until then, this is all i can offer you.
"This" is a wonderful shot - I love the light trails and especially the star twinkles. Great job!
