at the office christmas party. i was bored, i was tired and i was hungry. it was dark for my liking with all the red lights in the ballroom. there was a small light reflected on the wall next to our table at the far end corner. what did i do to amuse myself? you guessed it! put the camera on self-timer, aimed it on the wall then i stood against the wall, while everyone looked at me wondering what i was doing or what was happening.
one lady got it right - i was taking a self portrait.
rather cool with just the silhouette and that beam behind. i should look out more for lighting like that. too bad the cutlery was in the way.
Very cool selfie! The cutlery is ok- you can't tell what it is and it doesn't take anything out of the shot. If you really want to take it out, you can clone the shadow over the lighter parts and no one will know any better.
Haha - I totally agree with Northy's comment - would've been ultra-cool with a knife silhouetted in your hand.What a great use of your time and creativity - and if you hadn't mentioned the cutlery, I would not have noticed anything out of the ordinary. Great shot.
