okay, folks, for you, i woke up early to go near the lake and capture some snowy-wintry scenery. pluck-a-duck! it was friggin' minus 9 celcius and with the windchill factor my ass was really freezing at minus 15 degrees celcius!!!! well, not so much my ass but my fingers almost fell off my hands.
i went to the pond and it was darn frrrrrozen! everything was bare and the only thing nice were these evergreens. nothing exciting really. good thing i had the foresight to have brought my crystal ball. and by this time my i couldn't feel my fingers so i had to put on my shooting gloves but had to be careful i don't drop the friggin' camera. i had to use the lens' autofocus as i was already feeling confused from the cold!
cold and old, even though they rhyme perfectly, they don't like each other!
I love your snow globe view and your determination to brave the cold for this shot! Summerfield! I live in a temperate climate so not only do I avoid extremes in temperature, it would never have even crossed my mind to venture out from under the covers at minus 15 degrees. You go girl!
Now THAT sounds cold! You braved that to get this terrific shot! I think it was worth it, no? I love the trees in your crystal ball! I still want a crystal ball to try some pics with. Keep forgetting to order one.
This looks like a pretty snowglobe- shake it up- I like watching the snow swirl about! Oh my- it's cold here but not that cold! Close- but not that cold! Brave soul you are!!
